After several rather torturous but unavoidable postponements, author Gail Carriger finally announced on her blog (here) the release date and cover of the first book in her upcoming adult spin-off series, The Custard Protocol! (It follows the daughter of Alexia Maccon, the main character of Ms. Carriger's debut series, The Parasol Protectorate.) Book One, Prudence, doesn't release until March 2015, but it'll be completely worth the wait (and it'll be my birthday month - talk about the best present a girl could ask for)!
