I Heart Japan: Introducing My New Blog!

If you know me even a little, you know that I love all things Japan. I am an avid reader of manga (Japanese comics), student of the language and culture, and player of Go (ancient Japanese game). The only thing I have any trouble with is the food, but I'll get over that eventually. ;)

Because I love Japan so much, I love talking about it in any way, shape, or form I can - like blogging. But this is a writing blog, dealing with my journey to publication and all things bookish, and I don't want to force my Japanese addiction on you who Follow me for writerly reasons.

Therefore, I have started a new, separate blog just for my Japanese love, entitled Just Another Japanologist. If you are interested in hearing about my discoveries about the culture (especially Japan's unique holidays and religion), manga reviews, and journey to learn the language (Kana-a-Week entries each Sunday!), I would love to have you check it out here (and Follow me, if you like)!
