Girls' Night Out (& Giveaway!)

To celebrate the release of Earthbound by Aprilynne Pike, local indie Changing Hands hosted Girls' Night Out with Aprilynne, C.J. Hill (aka Janette Rallison), and Suzanne Young!

The authors did a great Q&A panel and talked about how they started writing, manage ideas, rejections, outlining, and much more. All the ladies are such fun to see in person - if you ever get the opportunity, definitely go and see them (especially Aprilynne - she's a riot).

As always, the authors signed afterwards. Local bookish friend Ashley of yAdult Review gave me a hardcover of The Program (earning her this week's Bestest Award, hands down), so I was able to get it signed by Suzanne. I can't wait to finally read it!

Aprilynne & Suzanne also had posters, and I snagged signed copies of them all. (Mwahaha.)
