The Friday Reads Review (2/7/14)

Welcome to The Friday Reads Review, a regular Friday segment where I share what I've been reading the past week! Want to join the Friday fun? Post your own Friday Reads Review on your blog, and then leave the link in the Comments below!

The Unbound (The Archived, #2)
The Unbound by Victoria Schwab (Hbk)
Seriously loving this, but she spends a little too much time being haunted for me. Let's try to move on at least a little so we can get on with the plot, please?

>> JUST FINISHED <<
Split Second (Pivot Point #2)
Split Second by Kasie West (ARC)
Love love LOVE! Both relationships were just perfect and fraught with many aww moments. And that ending! I did not see it coming. Wasn't the perfection of Pivot Point, but pretty darn close. Review to come.

>> READING NEXT <<
The Promise of Amazing
The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constantine (ARC)
I'm in desperate need of some serious fluff, and this looks to fit the bill! The reviews have been mixed, but with an adorable cover like that I have to at least give it a try.

So what are you reading this week?

    1. Yes, most definitely give SS and the first book, Pivot Point, a read! I highly recommend anything by Kasie, actually - she's an AMAZING author.

    2. Sure! My gosh, I admire how you can get through so many books! That used to be me a year or two ago, now I'm struggling with all the university stuff too. I think these may have to be summer reads! Thanks Skye.

I can't remember if I said, (I might have done, sorry) but I nominated you for a blog award on my Alter Ego Writer blog. I know you're probably busy with all of these great reads, just letting you know!

Looking forward to your next post!

    3. Kasie is an excellent summer read author! All her books are light and quick and so much fun. I'm actually a REALLY slow reader compared to most, especially bloggers - they can read a book in one/two days, and I'm lucky to get through a single book in a week! I'm struggling to find personal reading time with school as well, and have been procrastinating a daunting homework read that I will very soon have to buckle down and focus on exclusively. It's a good book, but NOT a quick read.

You have mentioned the award - thank you for it! You are so sweet. <3 I apologize for not responding sooner, I've been seriously swamped with homework and life and keep forgetting to respond to comments. XP I'll try to get to it soon. :)
