Here's today's haul:
Highlights
- TL finally got in the middle volumes of Fairy Tail, meaning I can finally start reading it! I refuse to read anything out of order unless absolutely necessary.
- I was two-thirds through Daughter of Smoke & Bone when a hold stole it away from me. Now I should be able to finish it.
- Stumbled across Glee's rendition of "Pure Imagination" this week and got a hankering to see the original Willy Wonka movie again. I'm pondering purchasing the original soundtrack if it's as good as I remember...
- New Nancy A. Collins Golgotham book came out this month (Left Hand Magic), so I got Right Hand Magic again to brush up before new book arrives. I read so much I can never remember what transpired in the previous volumes.
What did you get in your latest library haul?
Library Haul is a good theme. I am always amazed by how much some people are able to read. I myself have trouble getting books back to the library on time because I haven't read them yet. So I keep them and owe fines - but not on YA novels because they're considered children's books! Yay!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my recent 'haul' was just me picking up some books I'd ordered that all came in at the same time. It was Pretties by Scott Westerfeld (which I finished), Fly By Night by Frances Hardinge, and I Shall Wear Midnight by Terry Pratchett (last in the Tiffany Aching series). I already had The Graveyard Book and Artemis Fowl at home. That stack is pretty big for me, since I mostly only read in the evenings, so it takes awhile to get through books.
Hope you enjoy your haul and let us know what you think of the books!
Nice! I love the library. I drive all over the county and end up spending more gas money than it would cost to just buy the book, but it's so fun to finally find what you were looking for! (There's also InterLibrary Loan, but that takes ALL the fun out of it.)
