In honor of its formal entrance into society, I wanted to do something extra-special to celebrate and decided to hold a giveaway - on Twitter!
I love seeing a book I love out in the world on store shelves or newly arrived in someone's possession, and one of my favorite features on Twitter is the ability to attach pictures. So, I thought, why not put them together? And thus, my #CCinthewild giveaway:
HOW TO ENTER
1. Snap a picture of a copy of Curtsies & Conspiracies in one of two situations - either:
> Copies on your local bookstore shelf, or
> Your own copy (physical, electronic, or copy you snagged from the library).
2. Tweet the picture using the hashtag #CCinthewild. Example tweet: "Here I am with my shiny new copy of Curtsies & Conspiracies! #CCinthewild" or "Look what I found at my bookstore - Curtsies & Conspiracies in the house! #CCinthewild" No matter what the actual tweet, be sure to use the hashtag #CCinthewild, or I won't see your entry.
3. Spread the word about the giveaway! Example tweet: "I just entered to win jewelry inspired by Curtsies & Conspiracies from @skyelyte, and you can to! Find out how here: http://scribblerskye.blogspot.com/2013/11/curtsies-conspiracies-twitter-giveaway.html"
And you're entered - it's that simple! :)
RULES
- You can enter twice - once for each situation listed in #1 above.
- Each tweet must include a picture of a copy of Curtsies & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger, and the hashtag #CCinthewild.
- The giveaway runs Thursday, November 7th through Saturday, November 30th. A winner will be randomly chosen December 1st - I will tweet the winner, so be sure to check your Twitter account!
- This giveaway is International!!
- PLEASE NOTE: I am doing this giveaway on my own - the author, Gail Carriger, has graciously given her permission to hold it but is not involved. Please direct any questions you have about this giveaway to me on Twitter (@skyelyte) or here in the comments. Thank you!
WHAT YOU WIN
I personally put together a charm bracelet featuring important items in Curtsies & Conspiracies!
Shiny, yes? Each charm has some significance in C&C, and will help you recall crucial scenes from the book when you're telling everyone who admires it how they should go out and pick up a copy!
So that's the giveaway! Now go forth, snap your pictures of C&C in the wild, and I'll see you on Twitter!
