2013 End of Year Book Survey

Although I really should be writing reviews, I couldn't help but do The Perpetual Page-Turner's End of Year Book Survey! Check out my 2013 Best in Books, and find out a little of what I'm looking forward to in 2014!

Science Fiction: These Broken Stars (Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner) (This probably wins Best Book as well - seriously, if you haven't read it yet, get to it pronto!)
Fantasy: Splintered (A.G. Howard)

Frozen (Melissa de la Cruz & Michael Johnston) - OH THE DESPAIR


3. Most surprising (in a good way!) book of 2013? 

Arclight (Josin L. McQuein) - Had zero expectations and it blew me away.

  2. Okay I seriously need to read These Broken Stars! I'm also going to read Kasie West's books for sure this 2014. I also enjoyed reading Cinder, but still need to read Scarlet and Cress. I am also anticipating for The One! I really enjoyed The Selection, and I thought it wasn't that bad. It was such a fun read.

  3. You've mentioned so many amazing books! There are so many on your list that I still haven't read but am dying too! Especially the Lunar Chronicles, I have heard nothing but good things about that series. I also just got Pivot Point for Christmas and I'm very excited to read that one, glad to see you love Kasie West. I'm also waiting for The Winner's Curse, that book looks soooo good :)
