The #FridayReads Review (10/10/14)

Welcome to The Friday Reads Review, a regular Friday segment where I share what I've been reading the past week! Want to join the Friday fun? Post your own Friday Reads Review on your blog, and then leave the link in the Comments below!

Etiquette & Espionage (Finishing School, #1)Penguin Revolution: Volume 4

Etiquette & Espionage by Gail Carriger (Pbk)
I've been reading a lot of manga lately so I'm making slow progress on this. Still it's such an amazing read even the fourth time around!

Penguin Revolution Vol. 4 by Sakura Tsukuba (Pbk)
I'm currently collecting Tsukuba's ongoing Sweet Rein series and after reading a short story from her Penguin Revolution I had to get my hands on it! Unfortunately it was out of print, but after some serious effort I acquired volumes 1-4, 5-6 are on their way, and the library has 7! I'm almost through everything I already have, and it's even better than I thought it would be. Goodness I love manga about the Japanese entertainment industry.

Voice Over!: Seiyu Academy, Vol. 5
Voice Over! Seiyu Academy Vol. 5 by Maki Minami (Pbk)
Discovered this series at the library. I've heard people rave about it and while it can be quite good, Hime/Shiro has to be paired with someone interesting to be interesting. Senri + Shiro = comedy gold, though (oh the literal ROTFL moments I've had with those two!), so I'll keep reading just for them!

Curtsies & Conspiracies (Finishing School, #2)
Curtsies & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger (ARC)
After Book the First comes Book the Second in the re-read. This will be my third read of this one. (C'mon, you know you want to - join the readalong here!)

So what are you reading this week?
